You operate Bluehaven recording equipment at live events in your city. We provide the equipment and we train you on it. You set up in the same place each time, run the session to a written procedure, and report what happened afterwards, including anything that went wrong.
What you record is the raw material for our research, so the job is about doing the same thing correctly every time rather than about improvising. The most valuable thing an operator does is tell us accurately what occurred, especially when it did not go to plan.

What the job actually involves.
Schedule
Shifts run in the evenings and follow the event calendar at the venue in your city. You receive your schedule as soon as you are hired, so you know your dates well in advance rather than being called at short notice.
Pay and status
$100 for each three-hour shift. This is a part-time employee position. It does not include health benefits, paid leave or a retirement plan, and we would rather say that plainly here than have you find out in an interview.
Equipment
All equipment is provided by Bluehaven and remains ours. You do not need to own a camera, a phone or a computer for this role. Training on the equipment and the recording procedure is provided before your first shift.
What we look for
Reliability, punctuality, and the willingness to follow a written procedure exactly and say so when you could not. Nobody here gets in trouble for reporting a mistake. Guessing and presenting it as fact is the thing that actually costs us.
Requirements
You must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is based, be 18 or over, and live within reasonable travelling distance of the site in your city. No technical or photographic background is needed.
