Privacy Policy

What personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Last updated 13 September 2026

This policy covers this website, the applications Bluehaven Consulting LLC publishes, and information we receive from people applying to work with us. Where an individual application handles information differently, that is disclosed in the application itself and in its store listing, and those disclosures take precedence over this page.

Who we are

Bluehaven Consulting LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States. For anything in this policy, write to contact@bluehavenresearch.com.

This website

This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, loads no fonts or other content from third party servers, and has no forms. We do not build a profile of visitors and we cannot identify you from a visit.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes each request in order to deliver the page and keeps short lived operational records including IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser user agent. These are used for delivery, security and abuse prevention. If you email one of the addresses listed on this site, we receive your message and your address, which are held in our business email system and used only to reply and to keep a record of the correspondence.

Our applications

Our applications are supplied to our own staff and to the operators we engage, rather than sold to the general public. Depending on the application, we may process:

We process this information to operate and secure the service, to verify that a person using an application is authorized to do so, to carry out the research the application exists for, to support and improve the software, and to meet our legal and employment obligations. Where an application is used in the course of someone's work for us, that information is also used to administer their employment.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

Job applicants and personnel

If you apply to work with us we receive whatever you send, which typically includes your name, contact details, work history and availability. We use it to assess the application, to contact you, and to keep a record of our hiring. If you are engaged, we additionally hold the records required to administer that engagement and to meet tax and employment obligations, which may include identity documents and payment details.

Applications from people we do not engage are kept for up to twelve months in case a suitable role comes up, and then deleted. Ask us at any time and we will delete yours sooner.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run our systems, and they process information only on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service. These currently include Cloudflare for website delivery and network protection, Amazon Web Services for hosting and storage, Google Workspace for business email, and Apple for application distribution and crash reporting.

We may disclose information where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a lawful request from a public authority, and where necessary to establish or defend legal claims. If the business or part of it is transferred to another party, information may transfer with it, and this policy will continue to apply until the recipient publishes its own.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and then for as long as we are required to keep it for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Operational records and captured material are kept for the life of the project they belong to unless a shorter period is agreed. Account records are deleted or anonymized after an account is closed, except where a record must be retained.

Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and held on access controlled systems. Credentials are stored hashed rather than in a recoverable form, and administrative access requires a second factor. No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise, but we treat a failure here as a serious matter and will notify affected people where we are required to.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@bluehavenresearch.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live you may have specific rights under local law, and we will honor those. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

Some information we cannot delete on request, for example records we are required to retain, or records needed to establish or defend a legal claim. If that applies we will tell you which parts and why.

Children

Our website and applications are intended for adults in a professional context. They are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our systems are operated there. If you contact us or use our applications from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant and we hold your contact details, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you noticing.
